Frequently Asked Questions
Q: How do I book an appointment?
A: Please give us a call at 604 359 1688, email us at firstname.lastname@example.org, or leave your name, contact information, and message at the box at the bottom of the page. We will reach out to you to start registration paperwork, process payment and book your appointment.
Q: How much is your fee?
A: Our hourly rate (50 mins) is CA $128.00 tax included.
Q: Do you offer free consultation?
A: For payment and booking related inquiries, our administrator will happily assist you anytime. Simply call our number, email or book 15 mins free consultation with our administrator. However, we do not offer free consultation counselling session.
Q: How do you accept payment?
A: We accept eTransfer/ weChat pay/ Alipay/ UnionPay/ Paypal/ Canadain Creditcards both Visa and Mastercard.
Q: If I cancel my appointment, am I eligible for a full refund?
A: Cancellations requested a minimum of 24 hours prior to the appointment are eligible for a full refund (if pre-paid). No additional penalty charge if not pre-paid.
Q: What happens if I show up late for my appointment?
A: Your appointment is a time slot reserved just for you. Please be considerate and be as punctual as possible. Things happen, if you happen to be late, we will maximize the utility of the remaining time.
Q: What is the confidentiality policy?
A: A confidentiality declaration form will be given to you at intake. In short, EVERYTHING you disclose in sessions is confidential, except when: you say you're going to cause harm to yourself or another person, we're being subpoenaed by court, you give consent to release information, or if you're a minor (please call office for more information on this).
Q: Can I use my extended health benefits?
A: Yes, we can provide receipt once the session is complete and you can submit it to your Insurance company for reimbursement. It is upto the service recipient to check with the insurance company for benefit eligibility. InnerStrength Counselling Inc. may be eligible partially or as in whole according to the extended benefit provider's policy.
